P2P Express is designed to be a fast and efficient peer-to-peer transaction, allowing P2P traders to buy crypto with other traders without intermediaries on the Bybit App. It makes it easy for beginner users to quickly get quotes without the hassle of sorting through numerous ads.

 

 

Important Notes:

— Please note that P2P Express is only available on the App. 

— P2P transactions with Fiat will only be processed via the Funding account so please ensure that your funds are in your Funding account before starting a transaction. 

— P2P on Bybit offers zero transaction fees for both buyer and seller. However, buyers may need to pay transaction fees to the payment provider based on the payment method selected.

— In order to provide a safer trading environment, our system comprehensively evaluates every transaction to determine its risk level. Should the transaction be deemed risky, a 24-hour withdrawal restriction will be imposed on the relevant account(s).

— Your bank account name must be consistent with your registered name on Bybit. Otherwise, your account might be suspended and you may encounter permanent asset loss as the seller has a right to refuse to release the coin to you.

 

 

 

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you — as a buyer — start your first P2P Express transaction on Bybit.

 

 

Step 1: On the homepage, please click on More → P2P and at the top of the P2P Trading page, select the P2P Express tab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: On the P2P Express page, enter the amount of fiat you want to pay, or the amount of coins you want to buy by tapping the Switch button.

 

 

 

You may choose to turn on the Exclude ads that require verification button in order to display first all the ads that do not require additional verification. For more information about Additional Verification, please refer to this article.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Select the payment method that you prefer and you will be directed to the Order Preview page.

 

 

Note:

• The prices of advertisements may change at any time. Please refresh manually to view the most recent prices.

• On the Order Preview page, you will be able to view the advertiser’s information before conducting a transaction with them.

• Some advertisers may have special requirements for their counterparties. Please make sure you read the Advertiser Requirements before proceeding with the transaction.

• Please ensure that the payment method you added matches the exact payment method listed by the advertiser in order to successfully place an order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4:

a) For orders that require verification:

Tap on Verify Now and provide the required proofs in the Order Chat Box. For a detailed guide about completing verification, please refer to Step 5 in this article.

 

 

 

After completing the verification, click Pay Now to notify the seller.

 

 

 

b) For orders that do not require verification:

You’ll be redirected to the order page, where you will see a countdown timer to transfer the money to the seller's bank account.

 

 

 

Make payment in fiat according to the payment method you have selected. Ensure you are transferring the right amount to the right account via the right methods. After you have done so, click the Payment Completed button to notify the seller.

 

Important note:

— By clicking on Contact Seller, you will be redirected to the Order Chat Box which allows you to easily communicate with sellers in real time.

— Failing to transfer the funds to the Seller within the set timer in your Bybit account will automatically cancel your order.

— Please note that third-party payment is strictly prohibited on our platform. The payment account used to make the payment must be the same as your Identity Verification on Bybit. Otherwise, the seller has the right to refuse to continue trading with you and issue a refund to you. 

— Make sure not to write sensitive words on your reference ID or payment details (if any) such as “BTC/USDT purchase” when transferring fiat, otherwise, the transfer may fail.

— If the fiat currency you transfer is not paid on time, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some tips for your reference:

• Make sure that the Seller’s receiving account details are correct.

• Confirm whether the payment method you’re using supports real-time transfers. Otherwise, it will take some time to complete the payment.

• Contact your bank or third-party payment platform to find out why the deposit was unsuccessful.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Click on Payment Completed once you have completed the payment to notify the seller. You may be required to submit a payment receipt or enter the transfer amount.

 

 

Note:

• Do not click on the Payment Completed button until payment is complete. Please cancel the order if you are unable to make the payment.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Once the coins you've purchased have been successfully released by the seller, you can check your assets in the Funding Account. If you have activated the Savings Subscription upon P2P purchase, the coins will be directly credited to your Earn Account.

 

 

 

If the seller fails to release the coins within the timeframe, you can submit an appeal by clicking on the Order Dispute? button to get assistance. For more detailed information about appeal guidelines, please refer to this article. Our customer support team will assist you in the Order Chat Box. During this period, please do not cancel the order unless you've received a refund from the seller.
